I remember a few years ago getting a phone call from one of my finance managers telling me that the General Manager at one of our facilities had just dropped to the ground in cardiac arrest. Imagine the thoughts of knowing, but being states away and having no ability to act or help. Thankfully, two days prior, this facility had been equipped with an AED and the entire staff trained on this life-saving technique and equipment.

Mid-Hudson Works could not be more grateful to our two grantmaking hero’s for making this equipment a reality for our facility here in Poughkeepsie. I have seen first-hand how important it is to not only have the equipment available, but also have a well-trained team. This can, and will, save lives and we are truly blessed to have these two amazing organizations supporting this effort.
