Empowering Veterans & the Underserved

Mid Hudson Works offers workforce development training and support to underserved populations, focusing on veterans, individuals with disabilities and low-income individuals. Our programs help them reintegrate into the workforce after life-altering events or military service. We also address homelessness, especially among veterans, through partnerships with local agencies, providing opportunities for fresh starts. Together, we aim to improve the lives of those we serve one training opportunity at a time.

North River Roasters coffee is roasted in small air batches, using micro-roasting techniques, to ensure freshness and to maximize flavor. Coffee orders are roasted upon receipt to ensure the freshest roasts possible. We prioritize coffees with interesting flavor profiles that are certified Rain Forest Alliance (RFA) and Fair-Trade (FT). Our beans are always organically sourced, using the finest quality beans available. The North River Roasters brand also supports farms that provide their workers with fair wages and use sustainable farming methods. It is our mission to connect coffee to communities by offering coffee fundraising, corporate gifting, and even customized coffee wedding gift favors that will surely leave a lasting impression. Our Coffee with a Cause program supports other local nonprofits with similar mission alignments because combatting social issues is a team effort.
