Empire State Development Grant – Project Update

Out with the old and in with the new…Mid-Hudson Works wants to extend our deepest gratitude to all of these amazing organizations for assisting us with long overdue building projects and modernizations to our workforce development training facility here in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Huge thank you to Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council (NYREDC) and Empire State Development (ESD) for making this happen by providing us with matching grant funding.

We would also like to thank Hudson Valley Credit Union, Fairly New Thrift Shop, and M&T Bank for additional financial support on this project. We could not have done this without you all and we are truly grateful.

This project allowed us to upgrade two extremely old entranceway doors, two new 5-ton HVAC units to service our coffee roastery North River Roasters, and major upgrades to security for the facility, including an employee entrance key pad, new doorbells, and a buzz in system to keep our building safe and secure. These projects could not have been made possible without the commitment, dedication, and support from NYREDC, ESD, and our amazing local supporters.

Check out these amazing upgrades to our workforce development facility. Our community, the MHW leadership team, the MHW Board of Directors, and of course our stakeholders and staff members are truly grateful for your support on this initiative.
