North River Roasters coffee is roasted in small batches, using micro-roasting techniques, to ensure freshness and to maximize flavor. Coffee orders are roasted upon receipt to ensure the freshest roasts possible. We prioritize coffees with interesting flavor profiles that are certified Rain Forest Alliance (RFA) and Fair Trade Organic (FTO), using the finest quality beans available. The North River Roasters brand also supports farms that provide their workers with fair wages and use sustainable farming methods. When possible, we feature coffees sourced from areas that represent the diversity of the Poughkeepsie community such as Oaxaca, Mexico, and Peru.
